Alvin B. Moore, II

Alvin Moore, a lifelong resident of Wilmington and parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua passed away at Christiana Hospital on 12/31/25 at the age of 73. Alvin was predeceased by his parents, Anna Amalfitano Moore and Alvin Belton Moore. He is survived by his sisters, Patricia Ciszewski (LaGrange, IL), Maryann Dorsey (Sarasota, FL) and Carol Moore (Maple Grove, MN).

Alvin will be greatly missed by those who knew him and will be remembered for his kindness, compassion and wit. Alvin positively impacted his community as the owner of a concierge taxi service earning dozens of loyal clients through years of diligent service. He meant a lot to his clients, to whom he was known for his loyalty, friendship, and always "being there" when needed. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated  at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 901 N. Dupont St. Wilmington, DE on January 31st at 10:30 am followed by a Luncheon.
